Known for its delicious mangoes, gentle behavior of people Syed Nagli is a village of about 500 years old in Jyotiba Phule Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The town derives its name from the Sayyid clan, who founded it in approximately 1500.
Syed Nagli is located at .[1] It has an average elevation of 201 metres (659 feet).
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Syed Nagli had a population of 9428. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Syed Nagli has an average literacy rate of 38%, lower than the national average of 59.5% as is the case of all rural areas in India: male literacy is 47%, and female literacy is 29%. In Syed Nagli, 21% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Its population has increased significantly over the past two decades, mainly due to migration from nearby small villages.
This town is famous for the farming of agriculture products and growing of mangoes. It is one of the mango production town in northern India. Syed Nagli is a marketplace for agricultural products such as Fruits and imperishable vegetables. Its economy is Agriculture based, hand-loom weaving and handicrafts are fast assuming importance.
Syed Nagli has a humid subtropical climate, with long very hot summers and brief mild winters. Summers are long and hot, from early April to mid-October, with the monsoon season in between. From March, the reversal in the direction of wind occurs, from the north-western direction, to the south-western. These bring the hot waves from Rajasthan, carrying sand and are called “Loo”. The months of March to May see a time of hot prickling heat. Monsoon arrives at the end of June, bringing some respite from the heat, but increasing humidity at the same time. Winter starts in late November and peaks in January and is notorious for its heavy fog. Extreme temperatures range from −0.6 °C to 43.5 °C. The annual mean temperature is 25 °C monthly mean temperatures range from 13 °C to 32 °C. The average annual rainfall is approximately 720 mm most of which is during the monsoons in July and August. The average date of the advent of monsoon winds in Syed Nagli is 25 June.
